Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction
By booking a service with Australian Performance Motorcycles, you ("Customer") agree to abide by the following Terms and Conditions. These terms govern the use of the services provided by Australian Performance Motorcycles, including motorcycle repairs, maintenance, customizations, performance tuning, and transportation solutions. Please read these terms carefully before submitting your booking.
2. Booking & Service Requests
Service Booking: All motorcycle service requests must be submitted through our online booking form, and you agree to provide accurate and complete information.
Service Type: The services available for selection in the booking form include but are not limited to standard services, major services, tyre replacements, performance upgrades, and pre-inspections.
Consultation for Performance Upgrades: If you select "Performance Upgrades," the service is subject to a consultation process before any work is commenced. An appointment for consultation will be scheduled separately.
Pre-Inspection Services: Pre-inspection services include a report but do not include any follow-up work until after consultation and customer approval.
3. Appointment Scheduling and Changes
Preferred Dates: The dates you select in the booking form for drop-off and collection are preferred dates. While we will do our best to accommodate your preferred times, actual availability may vary. We will confirm the details of your appointment via email or phone.
Changes to Appointments: If you need to reschedule or cancel your booking, please notify us at least 24 hours before your scheduled drop-off date. Failure to provide adequate notice may result in rescheduling fees or the inability to accommodate the booking.
No-Show Policy: If you fail to drop off your motorcycle on the agreed date without prior notification, we reserve the right to cancel or reschedule your appointment at our discretion.
4. Payment and Pricing
Service Fees: The price of services will be quoted at the time of consultation (if applicable) or after a service assessment is completed. Prices are subject to change depending on the condition of the motorcycle and additional services required.
Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the service. We accept Cash, Credit/Debit Cards & Online Transfers.
Additional Costs: Any additional costs (e.g., parts, labor beyond the initial quote) will be communicated and must be approved by the Customer before work proceeds.
5. Customer Responsibility
Accurate Information: It is the Customer’s responsibility to provide accurate and up-to-date details about their motorcycle, including make, model, year, and registration (if applicable). Incorrect or incomplete information may delay service or lead to incorrect work being performed.
Motorcycle Condition: The Customer is responsible for ensuring that their motorcycle is in a safe condition for servicing. We reserve the right to refuse service if we deem the motorcycle unsafe to work on.
6. Liability and Warranty
Limitation of Liability: Australian Performance Motorcycles is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the repair, modification, or use of your motorcycle. Our liability is limited to the direct cost of the service provided.
Insurance Requirements: Customers are required to have their own insurance for their motorcycle, equipment, and any property left in the care of Australian Performance Motorcycles. We recommend that you check with your insurance provider to ensure adequate coverage during the service period. Australian Performance Motorcycles will not be held liable for any theft, damage, or loss of property caused by factors beyond our control, including but not limited to natural disasters, theft, or third-party interference.
Warranty on Services: We offer a warranty on labour and parts used in repairs for a period of 12 months. This warranty covers defects in workmanship but does not cover damage caused by misuse, accidents, or external factors after the service has been completed.
Customer’s Responsibility for Pre-existing Conditions: We are not responsible for any pre-existing issues with the motorcycle that may not be immediately visible or disclosed prior to service.
7. Motorcycle Collection and Ownership
Collection of Motorcycle: Customers are required to collect their motorcycles within 7 days of service completion. After this period, storage fees may apply.
Ownership of Parts: Any parts replaced or removed during service that are not returned to the Customer become the property of Australian Performance Motorcycles, unless otherwise agreed upon.
8. Privacy and Data Protection
Personal Information: By submitting a booking form, you agree to the collection and use of your personal information (name, contact details, motorcycle information) for the purpose of providing the service you have requested.
Data Security: We take reasonable measures to protect your personal data. However, by using our online booking system, you acknowledge and accept that no method of online communication is entirely secure.
9. Changes to Terms and Conditions
We reserve the right to update, modify, or revise these Terms and Conditions at any time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically to stay informed of any changes.
10. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of New South Wales, Australia, and you agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in New South Wales.
11. Acceptance of Terms
By booking a service with Australian Performance Motorcycles, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with these terms, please do not submit the booking form.
